The Element 22 Dune is a warm and understated expression of our vision of a contemporary timepiece. Its soft dune-gold dial lends a uniquely adaptive character, while the use of cutting-edge materials and engineering ensures exceptional durability. At its core, a high-end Swiss automatic movement delivers the precision and reliability.
The very essence of the Element collection comes from the artisanal background of Saint Bones jewelry: our passion lies in rare and remarkable substances — whether metal, stone, or composite. We are drawn to materials that stand apart, each carrying its own character and story. The first such discovery for us was titanium: not a precious metal in the traditional sense, yet extraordinary in its properties and allure. It became our material of choice — the 22nd element of the periodic table, and the foundation of the Element collection.
Titanium dominates in the most demanding applications — from racing cars to aviation and space exploration. Nearly twice as light as stainless steel yet almost identical in strength, it is exceptionally resistant to corrosion, unaffected by high temperatures, and fully biocompatible and hypoallergenic. Few metals can rival this balance of properties. But such excellence comes at a cost: titanium is significantly more difficult to machine and finish than conventional stainless steel alloys.
Because of its exceptional properties and distinction, we love to use it as much as possible in our creations. The all-titanium Element 22 timepiece has all parts except the movement fabricated in Grade 5 titanium: bezel, middle case, caseback, movement holder ring, crown, and even all 12 screws holding the piece together.
This uncompromising approach to engineering allowed us to achieve a remarkably slim 9.6 mm profile and a total weight of just 53 grams, strap and buckle included, for a timepiece measuring 43 mm in diameter.
